The growing number of network nodes leads to exponential growth of maintenance traffic, which decreases bandwidth capacity and increases energy consumption. These limitations actualize the development of algorithms that deliver such results as stability, scalability and minimal network delays in dynamic medium. In this work, a novel approach to decentralized self-organizing MANETs functioning is proposed, based on the application of cluster analysis to routing. It has been demonstrated that cluster analysis allows nodes grouping based on their topological and functional characteristics, which is enabling adaptive and efficient route construction as the number of nodes increases. The employed DBSCAN hierarchical clustering algorithm makes it possible to group nodes while keeping the advantage of reactive and proactive routing protocols.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Мобильные самоорганизующиеся сети MANET (Mobile Ad hoc Networks) ха-рактеризуются сложностью в построении маршрутизации в условиях постоянных измене-ний структуры сети. Рост числа узлов приводит к экспоненциальному увеличению объема служебного трафика, что снижает пропускную способность и увеличивает энергопотребление. Данные ограничения обусловливают актуальность разработки алгоритмов, позволяющих обеспечить устойчивость, масштабируемость и минимальные задержки сети в динамической среде. В работе предложен новый подход к функционированию децентрализованных самоорганизующихся сетей MANET, основанный на применении кластерного анализа для построения маршрутов. Показано, что кластерный анализ позволяет сгруппировать узлы сети по их топологическим и функциональным характеристикам, что дает возможность адаптировать процесс маршрутизации при увеличении количества устройств. Применяемый алгоритм иерархической кластеризации DBSCAN способствует объединению мобильных узлов в группы с сохранением преимущества реактивных и проактивных протоколов маршрутизации.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>самоорганизующиеся сети MANET</kwd><kwd>маршрутизация</kwd><kwd>кластерный анализ</kwd><kwd>протокол Ad hoc</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>self-organizing network</kwd><kwd>MANET</kwd><kwd>routing</kwd><kwd>cluster analysis</kwd><kwd>Ad hoc</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta>
